Almond Skin Benefits

Updated: Oct 24, 2020

Almonds are usually a fundamental ingredient in any weight-loss diet: milk is low in calories, and an excellent nut to snack on and frees us from anxiety.

But this nut also has many benefits for your skin because of the high amount of nutrients it provides. Almonds are rich in healthy fats, full of fiber, and act as excellent antioxidants. They are a healthy snack and also contain a large number of micronutrients such as copper, manganese, iron, and calcium.

Almonds are rich in vitamin E, which helps reduce the signs of aging and nourishes the skin. Vitamin E has specific antioxidant properties known to block free radicals in the body that can play an essential role in the aging process.

Benefits of almonds and how to take advantage of their nutrients

Soaked single almonds

If your mother ever told you to eat soaked almonds, pay attention to her advice. They offer great nutrition, but soaking them overnight removes the toxins in their coating. They also contain vitamin E that protects your skin from aging and heals damaged tissue internally, giving you radiant skin.

Almond mask for oily skin

You can grind 10-12 soaked almonds and mix them with 3-4 drops of rose water. Add a few drops of running water to make a paste and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

These soaked fruits contain emollients that moisturize your skin, and the rosewater will help maintain the pH balance.

Almond oil

This oil is full of nutrients that help nourish your hair and are also good for your skin. It helps moisturize the skin, and its hypoallergenic properties heal irritated skin. You can apply this oil directly to your face, but it is best to dilute the oil before use if you have oily skin.

Make a mask of almond oil, honey, and lemon for radiant skin. Honey will soothe your skin and prevent acne due to its antibacterial properties, and lemon contains citrus fruits that will cleanse your skin.

Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice and honey and add three tablespoons of oil. Apply this paste to your face and remove it after 30 minutes with cold water.

Now that you know all its benefits, do not waste more time and try it to improve your skin.
